This recipe took me by surprise as it only contains apples (compote) as a wet ingredient. But it worked like a charm. I’ve cut it in 6 which made generous portions. It would feed 8 to 10 people esaily.

- Preheat the oven to 160. Grease a 25cm square tin (I’ve used a round one) with vegan butter.
- Mix all the dry ingredients together.
- Add the apple compote and mix gently.
- Add the diced apple and give it a good mix.
- Put in the tin and bake for an hour.
- Remove from the oven and wait 20 minutes before removing it from the tin.
